What is County of Fortune?
County of Fortune is a single-player medieval city-building and economic strategy game developed by Nepos Games and published by Aquila Interactive. You establish several settlements across a county, specialize their industries and connect their economies through roads and rivers.
Terrain and resources influence where settlements can prosper, while production and supply determine how they grow. Mayors, noble houses and cultures add another layer of decisions as you shape the county's economy and identity.

- When does County of Fortune release?
- Steam Early Access is planned for November 5, 2026. As of our November 4 research check, the full game has not launched and a free demo is available.
- What can I play in the free demo?
- The demo includes one map and settlement progression up to level 2. It introduces the county's settlement, production and trade systems.
- Will my demo save carry over?
- The developers confirm that progress from the October demo can carry into Early Access. Saves from the earlier June Next Fest demo are not compatible with the newer demo.
- What is announced for Early Access?
- The November 3 official announcement describes four social classes, more than 90 products and over 80 buildings for Early Access. These figures describe the announced Early Access version, not the demo.
- Which platforms are listed?
- The Steam store lists Windows and SteamOS + Linux. macOS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions are not listed in the sources checked for this wiki.
